HISTORY
OF AMERICAN AIR SUSPENSION
Hello,
my name is Eddie Spinks and I'm the owner of American
Air Suspension. If you have the time, I would like to give you a little history
on my company.
I was a "Ford
Certified" Front end, Brake and Suspension Technician for Ford and
Lincoln for 15 years, and for the last 2 of that 15 year period, was remanufacturing
air ride compressors for all Ford/Lincoln vehicles at home in my garage. I formed
my company that was then named Blue Collar Industries.
Working
on cars as well as the parts that went on the car, allowed me to research each
an every part to find out their strengths and weaknesses and learn what to do
to "Make A Better Mousetrap". This R & D time gave
me an advantage over the competition, because I knew how the system worked....inside
an out. The word quickly got out about my parts, as well as my ability to talk
"Plain English" to people so they could easily understand how to diagnose
& repair these complicated systems. I wound up having to take time off of
my "day job" to keep up with the demand of my "night job". In the summer of '99,
I made the jump and started my career.
In
2003, I changed the name of the company to include what we did and named it after
the best country on the planet! We are proud of our country and are committed
to bringing unrivaled service to our customer client base. You can ask anyone
that has dealt with our company, your not just buying parts....your
buying service! Remember that a sale only lasts a few minutes, service lasts a
lifetime!
My company has grown
over the years and is now offering New Air Springs , Remanufactured
Air Struts, and even a way to avoid the air suspension completely with
Coil Spring Conversion Kits. We sell only the finest quality parts to be
used on your vehicle. We have the utmost confidence in our products and sell only
the best. If there is any question about the integrity of a part, we won't carry
it. If a customer encounters a problem with a certain part we carry, we will do
everything in our power to do what's right...not necessarily what's' good for
the business financially.
American
Air Suspension is a small business with a BIG heart. Unlike our competitors,
which have the big business attitude, "Build it as cheap as possible to get
it out of warranty", we WILL NOT skimp on quality to make a dollar!
We are proud of our country and our name and WILL NOT make or sell a part
that is inferior. Most of these air suspension parts were manufactured in Japan,
but are being remanufactured by Americans....
for Americans. We believe and have
proven it over the years, that a quality rebuilt O.E.M. part WILL outlast
the cheap China knockoffs on the market today.
Why
won't ANY of the strut remanufacturers out there today rebuild any of the China
knockoff parts?....Because the China struts are so cheap to begin with, you can't!
The quality is so low to begin with that they would never make it through any
quality control system.
