In our opinion, these compressors are junk from the factory. They have had problems with the armatures as well as blowing the ends off the dryers. They will usually start making more and more noise then run really rough.

NOTE: When the compressor does die, it can and usually will allow the rearend to drop.

(If the air pressure in the air springs is greater than what the compressor can produce, it will vent down in most cases)

SUGGESTION: These compressors start drawing allot of amps when they start going bad, so if your compressor has gone bad.....figure on getting a new relay at the same time. You "may" get lucky and it last a little while, but its been our experience that it will die later on and usually at the worst possible time.
