The
Front and/or the Rear is jacked up and won't go down
There
are several ways to determine where the problem is coming from. Probably the easiest
way, is to first listen for the clicks of the solenoids.
With
the suspension switch ON, turn the ignition switch on, open and close the door
and listen for the solenoids to click.
(the
first clicking is the solenoids opening)
Its
up to the module to determine which end should go down first. It may be the front
first or the back.
Do
you hear a clicking sound coming from the front or rear solenoids?
If
you DO NOT, you should first look to make sure the
sensor(s) are still connected.
If
you DO hear the solenoids clicking, the module is
probably trying to vent the system down.
Disconnect
all 4 air lines from the dryer, turn the ignition switch back on and open and
close the door.
If
the vehicle DOES go down, you have a venting problem
in the compressor/dryer assembly. The problem could be a vent
solenoid and/or a clogged dryer. (a bad vent solenoid
is pretty common on this model vehicle)
(a
vent solenoid is an integral part of the compressor)
If
it DOES NOT go down, (since you said
the solenoids click) you have an obstruction in one or more of the air lines.
(this
is very rare)
