REPLACING FRONT MARK VII(7)

AIR SPRINGS

(REMOVAL WITHOUT PULLING FRONT WHEELS)

  1. TURN SUSPENSION SWITCH OFF. Put front of vehicle on jackstands.(position jackstands underneath frame)
  2. Turn steering wheel all the way to the right if your working on the left side, turn it to the left if your working on the right side.
  3. Crawl up under front of vehicle and remove the safety clip on the bottom of the lower control arm.
  4. With a small blade flathead screwdriver, remove small thin solenoid safety clip. Now twist solenoid counterclockwise one step until it stops. Air "should" rush out quickly. Then twist solenoid to its next step and remove.
  5. Push lock clip and twist lock ring surrounding the top of the spring.

Pull top of spring down and out.

TO INSTALL

  1. Slide air spring into slot. Push up and twist locking mechanism to the locked position.
  2. Hook up connector to solenoid and install air line.
  3. Pull off sensor arm TEMPORARILY and compress sensor and slide it towards lower control arm.(if you have help, have them turn the suspension switch on and the ignition, let it pump up for about 20 seconds or so then turn off suspension and ignition switch.)
  4. If you don’t have help, Turn on ignition and suspension switch and let it pump for about 20 seconds.
  5. Reattach sensor arm, straighten wheel and install the safety clip on the bottom of the lower control arm.

6. Turn ignition on and wait for the car to raise to normal height.
