Below is a picture of a front Mark VIII(8) air suspension sensor. As you can see from the picture, it looks like a little shock absorber or an accordian.

There are 2 sensors up front, one being on each side.

NOTE: The rear only has 1 sensor for the air suspension.

HOW ARE THEY MOUNTED?

All the sensors are mounted by way of a ball stud. This allows the sensor to stay mounted no matter what the height of the vehicle.

NOTE: If the sensor has popped off, try snapping it back on, but keep an eye on it. Allot of times, when the sensor pops off, it will keep popping off. Replacing the sensor....or at least, the little metal tension clip on the end of the sensor will get you going again.
